9. Jungfrau Music Festival 2011

The Jungfrau Music Festival association is a non-profit organisation that promotes the continuing education of conductors and musicians, presents high quality national and international orchestras, gives wind orchestras from all over the world, in one of the most beautiful corners of our country, the chance to take part in a competition, and promotes the area of youth and music. New compositions, innovative projects, exhibitions and workshops provide fresh impulse and present up to date news from the world of music

Our organising team and the artistic committee are composed of experienced experts from home and abroad. Thanks to the generous support from the promoting (supporting) committee, the public and the economy, it has been possible in the past years, to carry out the festival in Interlaken, Thun and Bern. The concept “Promoting youth and great concert music” has been established, and so it is not surprising, that the festival has quickly found recognition and acceptance.

The people responsible for the Jungfrau Music Festival are proud to have set a musical mark with their work, that “lights” far over their country’s borders. Last but not least, Switzerland has the chance to present its cultural and scenic beauty.
